YOUR MONEY, BEHIND A MOAT

Nobody can
drain you.

Hacked, phished or robbed at home, your money stays put. Moat puts your savings behind a timer nobody can skip, so a thief walks away with nothing. And you can stop any withdrawal.

THE ROBBER

Gets your wallet. Finds a little SOL. That's it.

THE HACKER

Tries to empty your vault. Has to wait. You cancel.

  • A normal wallet with a small balance.

YOUR VAULT
Safe.
  • Nothing leaves without waiting.
  • You or your trusted contact can stop any withdrawal.
IF THE WORST HAPPENS

Keys stolen?
One tap ends it.

  1. 01A thief gets your vault key and starts a withdrawal. It has to wait.
  2. 02You get an alert on Telegram. So does your trusted contact.
  3. 03One tap sends everything to your safe wallet. The thief can't change where it goes.
PRIVATE DEPOSITS

Make it invisible.

Pay a fixed amount into Moat's shared pool from any wallet, even your main one. It reaches your vault 15 to 90 minutes later from a different address, so nobody can connect the two. Moat holds it for those minutes, and privacy grows as more people use it.

TRUST, BUT CHECK

You don't have to
take our word for it.

  • YOURSOnly your wallet can start a withdrawal. Moat never holds your keys.
  • PUBLICEvery vault has a public page anyone can check. See a real one →
  • HONESTThe waiting time stops fast theft. A trusted contact in another place is what helps if someone holds you for longer.
  • TOKENSVaults hold SOL and tokens (USDC, memecoins, any SPL token). Tokens with special transfer rules, like some Token-2022 transfer hooks, may not be supported.

QUESTIONS

Fair questions.

What if someone forces me?+

You can start a withdrawal in front of them, but the money still waits the full time you chose. Meanwhile you, or your trusted contact somewhere else, can stop it. There is nothing to hand over right now.

What if I get hacked?+

A hacker with your wallet can only start a withdrawal, and it has to wait. You get a Telegram alert the moment it starts, and you cancel it. Your trusted contact gets the alert too, and can cancel even if the hacker has your phone.

How do I know a withdrawal started?+

Turn on Telegram alerts from your vault. Moat checks your vault every minute and messages you when a withdrawal starts, gets cancelled or goes out. Your trusted contact can turn them on too.

What if my vault key is stolen?+

The thief can only start a withdrawal, and it has to wait. You get an alert. Then you, or your trusted contact, tap one button and everything goes straight to your safe wallet: the wallet you picked when you opened the vault. The thief can't change it. (Vaults opened before safe wallets existed can still cancel, but not rescue.)

Can people see how much I have?+

Only someone who knows your vault's address. Your trusted contact knows it. Open your vault from a new wallet and nobody else can find it. The public proof page never shows your balance.

What if I need my money urgently?+

You wait the time you chose. No exceptions, not even for you. That is what makes it safe, so pick a waiting time you can live with. One day is a good start.

Can Moat take my money?+

No. The vault only answers to your wallet: only you can start a withdrawal, and only to where you choose. Moat has no button to move your money, and the on-chain code is frozen: nobody can change it, not even us. Start with an amount you are comfortable with, then add more.

How private are private deposits?+

Better than a direct transfer, not magic. Your payment goes into a shared pool and your vault receives the same fixed amount 15 to 90 minutes later from other addresses, sometimes in parts. On-chain, nobody sees a link. But privacy depends on how many people use it: if you are the only 5 SOL deposit that hour, timing can give you away. Moat itself knows which payment went to which vault while it is in transit, and holds the SOL for up to about 2 hours.

What does it cost?+

Opening a vault costs about 0.002 SOL, which Solana keeps in the vault as a small required deposit. Each action costs a normal network fee, a fraction of a cent. Moat adds no fee.

What can I put in?+

SOL and tokens: USDC, memecoins, any SPL token. A few tokens with special transfer rules (some newer Token-2022 tokens, for example ones with transfer hooks) may not work.

Why use a new wallet to open it?+

Your vault is tied to the wallet that opens it. A new wallet keeps it separate from the one people know is yours.

Keep a little out.
Keep the rest safe.
